Little fragments of Joy

Chaos, Cats, and Caffeinated Catastrophes

I’m glued to my screen, scribbling journals, diaries of wonder, monologues, and soul-to-soul dialogues. When I venture into the kitchen, coffee-making often turns into a minor catastrophe—boiling, leaping, terrorizing cats and neighbors alike. Sardine pasta attracts a feline audience: neighborhood cats press against the window, mimicking my every move, glaring when I ignore them, and scheming to sneak inside. My life is equal parts writing, cooking chaos, and cat theater.

A Journey of Becoming

A Drifter’s Journey to the Writer Within — A Soul Finding Its Voice

I never dreamed of writing—or of publishing memoirs, poems, guides, and manifestos. Life has always been unpredictable and free-flowing, carrying me along paths I couldn’t have imagined.

After college, I thought I had found a lifetime companion. My former partner and I were a dynamic duo, seemingly perfectly matched. He had dropped out of Economics, while I had just graduated from the Faculty of Food and Resource Economics. Whimsically, I wished to leave Canada and convinced him to come along—skipping the Christmas party with my family. Together, we eloped out of North America to Latin America, exhilarated by the adventure and the promise of a shared life. I believed he was a spirit meant to stay by my side. But soon we realized we were not meant for each other.

What began as a joyful, life-affirming journey abroad became a profound rift, filled with misunderstandings, cultural friction, and unspoken resentments. Years of companionship unravelled, leaving us both hurt and disillusioned. Yet within that rupture, I discovered a hidden blessing. The separation opened doors to synchronicities I had never noticed—moments where divine guidance quietly nudged me toward something truer, something closer to my heart.

Abandoned in a foreign country, I took a one-way flight out of Panama, leaving behind both the past and the heartbreak. My life felt like a shipwreck—chaotic, devastating, raw. At first, I wallowed in emptiness, rapturous in my tears, mourning what was lost. But slowly, amid the wreckage, I found my calling.

It was here that my journey of self-love, self-discovery, and individuation began. Through writing, painting, and creating, I learned to listen to my own spirit, embrace my “ADDitude,” and transform heartbreak into art, wisdom, and story.

Creating, Loving, Remembering

Oscillations of a Writer’s Heart

Writers are thinkers. We move between emotional intensity and calm observation, shaping ourselves as observers—transforming fleeting sensations into reflections, theories, and internal dialogues. The raw and the rational merge in our work, weaving the tides of emotion into clarity.

On my desk hums a small dehumidifier, its lights flickering Blue-Green, Vermillion, Munsell Purple, Amber, Magenta—each hue echoing the rhythm of my mind. It pulls in heaviness, distills it, and exhales clarity, swinging between fire and stillness, just as I do when shaping emotion into words.

To be a purpose-driven writer is to listen to the inner voice, confront the shadows of self-doubt, and become the voice of one’s own soul. In this work, we bring love to fellow writers—young, new, and emerging—together creating a tapestry of timeless art that resonates across generations.

The rhythm of distilling thought and feeling mirrors the heartbeat of creation. Swinging between passion and observation, between fire and stillness, we shape words from the tides of our souls, channelling our energy from vacillation to assertiveness, with art itself standing as a witness of truth.

Not enlightenment. Just a diary with better lighting — read the blog before the truth changes its mind (again)!
